Great value place to stay in Ernakulam. Easy to get transport to wherever you want to go in Kochi (as well as using the Water Metro for Fort Kochi). The home feels safe.Jamal was a great and welcome host. We shared conversation a few different times throughout my stay, and he provided me with local recommendations, including for food and transport (I ate at his nearby restaurant recommendation twice in a row). I also felt comfortable leaving most of my luggage there for a weekend while I travelled elsewhere in Kerala with only a backpack.

Abdul and family are very kind, friendly and helpful hosts. I enjoyed a month-long stay at their place. It’s close to public transport and shops, etc. Highly recommended.

Great place for the price point. It’s a private unit within a house, featuring a bedroom, kitchen area, and bathroom. The location is fantastic, one of the best in Kochi. The host, Abdul, was extremely helpful and responsive. Highly recommend

I booked this place for my brother, who was visiting from Australia. This place was just perfect! And Abdul is an amazing host. He helped my brother with everything possible as he was new to the city. And his place is perfect with all amenities and a very central location. Plus, Abdul is always there to support, if you need. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, Abdul!

We stayed a week at Jamal's wonderful home. It's a comfortable house with a beautiful brick and stone architecture. Jamal was an excellent and caring host who gave us many tips on where to eat great local food and what to see in the area. The home is close to the train station and the metro, so it's easy to get around. We highly recommend staying here.

Abdul jamals properly was superb, clean and conveniently located.It's accessible to any tourist places in Kochi.The nearby metro and railway station is only a walkable distance from the home.I recommend this property to others.

Great value for money. Abdul was very accommodating. We had a 6:30 am check-in and a late checkout as we had both fallen sick on the last day and had to wait indoors somewhere until our train back home. He accommodated all our requests

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of the City!

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely superb! The accommodation was exceptionally clean and tidy, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. Situated right in the centre of the city, it was incredibly convenient and easily accessible to all the tourist attractions and business locations I wanted to visit.

Communication with the host was outstanding; they were prompt, friendly, and very helpful throughout my entire stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in the heart of the city. Thank you to the host for making my trip so enjoyable!

Amazing hospitality from Jamal. He was always there to help by recommending places to go and visit. When we needed something, he would respond immediately and take action. Furthermore, the house is big with plenty of amenities available. The location is also perfect with metro and train stations within walking distance. I would highly recommend jamal’s house

Our Host Jamal, was very kind and friendly. The place was ready to move and was a home away from home. The place is 10 minutes walking distance from the Lissie Metro Station and has some restaurants nearby. It's the best place to be if you wanna get a taste of the city as well as go shopping. The architecture and the detailing have a very relaxing ambience. He can guide you with all your queries.

The location is the key for this property, it's located right at the heart of the city, and there is a metro station at a walkable distance, which connects you to most parts of Kochi. The place is quaint and ideal for a long stay, it has a functional kitchen and is spacious enough to relax and unwind. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, which is a huge plus. Even eateries around are open until midnight or 2am. Absolutely loved the location and stay. Thanks to the host for helping us through the stay.

I stayed at Jamal’s place in Kochi for 5 days and really enjoyed it. Jamal was so kind to meet me at the airport and was also helpful with arranging a day trip for me as well as giving advice and recommendations.

The house is comfy with plenty of space and I had the entire place to myself. Jamal was close by and was available if I needed anything or had questions. The house is in a quiet lane and it’s less that a 10 minute walk to the metro station. If you’re not needing the metro there are tuk tuks close by 24 hours a day so you can get anywhere in the city easily. There are also restaurants and shops close by that stay open late. Thanks again for your help Jamal- I enjoyed my time in Kerala.... B.

First we have to say again THANK YOU for your lovely and very kind help in every single way. Jamal (that‘s the Name we know him) was like a Dad to us and i think we didn‘t have to explain the meaning . He is absolutely helpfull with questions about any sightseeingtours or recomendations about special places or hotspots.

His accommendation is a wonderful townhous planned by himself with a beautiful architecture. super fitted respectively perfect equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay.

Jamal‘s House is perfect located and you only need a few minutes walk to reach the metro station. Supermarket, Restaurants and ATM are just around the corner. There was bottlet water all the Time and for free available for us.... super comfortable.

My significant other had very nice and interesting conversations about politics and any other subjects....he liked it very much to talk to Jamal.

At all....if we have to say anything almost negative then it is the fact that we weren‘t really private like he described it in his description but i think we should have just mentioned that.

It was an absolutely pleasent stay and we would highly recommend Jamal‘s accommodation to everyone.

Abdul’s home is absolutely beautiful, tucked away from the busy SRM road, it is perfect for those looking to experience the best of both Ernakulam and Fort Kochi. It is an extremely spacious and well designed house with full kitchen, laundry facilities, ironing area, dining room and lounge area featuring a fish pond housed at the base of a red brick turret.

Abdul himself made us feel extremely at home, recommending all the local things to do, modes of transportation etc. We really recommend Maria’s Cooking Class on Fort Kochi, a must. The house is situated right beside Ernakulam train station, allowing you to escape the city and visit the North. We went to Chalakudy and on to Athirapally Falls where we stayed for the night. Other must-see places include Alleppy and Munnar.

There were honestly no negatives to our stay in Abdul’s home, and any queries we had were answered by a quick phone call or text. One tip I advise travellers is to bring physical copies of both your passport and visa and to take a picture of your visa stamp in your passport, as it is required by Kerala law for any hotel/host to register foreigners.

True to the spirit of the verse,I ought to consider my guests as god which again means that the guests are respected and treated nicely and similarly as we treat our god.

"Vasudhaiva kudumbakom" another Sanskrit verse meaning the whole world is a family, we should all live in peace and harmony like the members of a family do. Thank you, Jack and Riona, for being a part of our family.
