Everyone is welcome to this Home Science Fair for the East Valley Region. Homeschool students, along with private, public or charter school students are invited to participate.
Science fair projects are fun and filled with self-discovery. Students get to explore areas that interest them, choose topics to ask questions about, focus their inquiry into a testable hypothesis, and then perform the experiments! A science fair helps them go through all the steps that real scientists go through to help society learn and grow using the scientific method.
Problem-solving and critical thinking are two of the most important skills students learn in school. Science and science fair projects are a great way to build these skills.
The registration fee for the first person in the family is $5.00 and additional students from that family are $1.00 each. Students up to age 18 years of age can participate in the competition. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner along with recognition for honorable mention.
