Just because you are homeschooling doesn't mean you are stuck in the house. Take the kids and get outside! Play tag in the yard, scooter in the driveway. Hike, hit the GWLT trails, walk in the woods.
Read out loud together! If you don't do anything else, read out loud together. Read, read and read together some more. Read the books they want to listen to. If your children don't like that book, abandon it and try another. But read out loud together. Even teenagers will enjoy listening to their favorite books. Don't worry about doing voices or making it sound like Jim Dale, just read with them.
Get the kids invested. Don't set up a schedule for them. Let them set up their own schedule. Let them discover how fast they can go. If they say "I don't get it.", take a break and do something else, preferably some physical activity.
Don't feel that you have to be "The Teacher". Homeschooling is very different from school. Be kind to your children. Your children and your well-being should come first. Find your children's learning style. Read out loud together if nothing else!
Stick to the basics. Do not worry about the "busy work". So much of school work is about keeping kids busy. Just do the essentials and forget the rest.
Eliminate screen time and social media for littles. Work out a schedule with your older ones.
Helping others is the best way to establish a social network. Can you and your children find a way to cheer up others? Write cards to the elderly? Meet the neighbors? Shovel driveways and rake lawns? Make meals. Bake cookies for the local shelter.

Homeschooling is about learning, not about teaching. Your children will learn from you without you teaching them. Relax and be with them. Read out loud and play games. Be there for them as much as you can. You have a different relationship with them than their school teachers. You are not the "substitute teacher". Enjoy having this extra time with them.
Learning takes many, many forms. Keep a journal where you can jot down all the activities your child does during a day and you will be surprised to see how much they learn over the space of a year.
