Welcome to Homeschool Family Connections - Treasure Coast, and our Homeschool FACE (Families Achieving a Cooperative Environment).

Thank you for your interest in being a part of our homeschool support and activity group, and our co-operative educational classes and activities.

We are a relaxed and supportive cooperative community of homeschooling families. We are here for eachother! Our homeschool group is a place to foster connections, build relationships, encourage and support one another; and join in conversations about our home educational methods, our day to day outings and activities, and our homeschooling and whole life learning journeys.

Whether you are new to homeschooling and just starting out, or whether you are old hats at this homeschooling thing - We have found that homeschooling is the best choice for our children and that homeschooling will provide a wonderful, enriching environment for our children to learn.

Our homeschool Facebook group was originally founded in September 2015 as Homeschool Moms on the Treasure Coast. We were one of the first Facebook Homeschool Support Groups in this area. Our group was founded to offer an alternative to paid homeschool co-op groups and organizations. Our homeschool group has never charged any fees to become a member. The goal was to offer more to our members; to offer a higher level of support to our homeschool families, and Facebook has given us that opportunity. We have a forum for communication and a place to discuss our homeschool and family life. Since then, we have made a few changes. We are no longer just a group for Moms, but allow dads or grandparents to join our group. Our name has changed, and we have added more homeschool events and cooperative educational activities and classes.

This group is for families, anyone that homeschools their children (Moms, Dads, Grandparents).

Our homeschool activities, events, and co-operative educational classes are for children of all ages.

Our mission is to help facilitate homeschool family connections.

We are a diverse, multi-cultural group from all types of backgrounds. Many of us, also have children with special needs, disabilities, or other considerations (neurological, behavioral, emotional, physical). Understanding and tolerance of all of our differences is a priority in this group.

It is our wish that everyone (children and adults) will be treated with kindness, respect, and compassion as we embrace all of our differences. We offer a safe and welcoming environment for all of our families.

We are a volunteer led group of families who work cooperatively to provide a diverse range of homeschool educational activities and social events for the homeschooling family.

Our activities range from Park Days, Nature Outings, Educational Activities, Cooperative Classes, and Field Trips; to Moms Night Out, and Social Events for the whole family.

Our families are from the Treasure Coast of Florida: Hobe Sound, Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Port Saint Lucie, Fort Pierce, Port Salerno (Primarily Martin County and Saint Lucie County).

There is no cost to join or become a member of our group.

Homeschool Family Connections - Treasure Coast is ran by dedicated group members that have volunteered to take on a Leadership role in our homeschool group. Our group leadership posses many skills and talents, but most of all, we posses a willingness to help homeschool families connect with one another. We also have many members that assist our group by hosting co-op classes, activities, and events. All who dedicate their time and unique talents to Homeschool Family Connections and the homeschool community.

We wish for all of our members to be an integral part of this group and to support and encourage one another. We hope that you will make homeschool family connections with us!
