Teaching

I started teaching at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2008. In the mean time I participated in in the teaching and development of the courses below. Besides that I also led some courses in ESCCA, International Training Center for Bankers.

I won the Teacher of the year award in 2019.


PhD supervisory

Ngo Thai Hung defended his doctoral thesis "Volatility spillover of the stock market and foreign exchange: Evidence from CEE countries." in 2020.  

Zoltán Pollák defended his doctoral thesis "Liquidity Management And Intermediation In Unsecured Credit Markets" in 2022. 

Tímea Ölvedi has already defended her thesis proposal, now she is working on her final thesis on the relevance and characteristics of peer-to-peer lending. 

Sándor Misik has already obtained the absolutorium, now he is working on his research in the field of FX-rate correlation structure. He will submit his dissertation proposal in 2024.


I am ready to work together with new PhD candidates in the fields of risk management, financial markets, financial institutions and regulation.
