About me:
Currently, I am a postdoc at the University of Toronto. Before, I was a postdoc at the MPIM in Bonn and a PhD student of Marius Crainic at Universiteit Utrecht.
Here is my CV.
Research interests:
My research thus far revolves around Hamiltonian actions and momentum maps, often in the context of Poisson manifolds of compact types (PMCTs). Besides symplectic geometry, Poisson geometry and Lie theory, this involves subjects such as singularity theory (e.g. stratified spaces, manifolds with corners, orbifolds and maps between such spaces) and integral affine geometry. My ongoing work also involves connections of the above with complex geometry and Hermitian metrics.
Publications and preprints:
Stratification of the transverse momentum map,
Compositio Mathematica, 2024.
Here is a recording of a talk on this.On the classification of multiplicity-free Hamiltonian actions by regular proper symplectic groupoids (submitted).
Kähler metrics and toric Lagrangian fibrations,
with Rui Loja Fernandes (submitted).
Here is a recording of a talk on this.
Other writings:
Hamiltonian actions of compact type from a Poisson point of view (PhD thesis).
