We are able to execute Dealer Transfers of firearms.

Home on the Range Firearms Instruction Dealer-to-Dealer Transfer Fee is only $20.00 for the first firearm and $5.00 for each additional firearm in the same transaction.

Transferring a gun to Home on the Range Firearms Instruction is a very easy operation. Wherever you buy the gun, the seller is going to need a copy of our FFL in order to ship the gun to us. You can download a copy of Home on the Range Firearms Instruction's FFL and give it to them, or upon request, we can mail/e-mail them a copy of our license. The seller will then ship the firearm(s) to us for you to pick up. They will need to include TWO things with the firearm/s.

1. A copy of their FFL or a full copy of their driver's license if not a dealer.

2. Your name and phone number.

After we receive the firearm and it has been processed into our system, we will call you to let you know that the gun is ready to be picked up. Typically we can have the firearm processed and ready for you to pick up in less than 24 hours. If you are tracking the shipment of your transfer and it shows it has been delivered, that does not mean that it is ready to be picked up. To pick up the gun you will need a valid Ohio photo ID/DL and will need to fill out a Federal Form 4473 for the background check. Once the form is filled out, and your background check is approved, you can pay the transfer fee and take possession of the firearm. TRANSFERS WILL BE HELD FOR 90 DAYS UNLESS A LONGER TIME IS APPROVED IN WRITING. ANY GUN LEFT AFTER 90 DAYS WILL BECOME OUR PROPERTY.
