Founded in 1922, the Home of Neighborly Service of San Bernardino has been an important part of our community.

As we celebrate 100 years in San Bernardino, we want to express our sincere thanks for all the support we've received from our supporters. The past two pandemic years have been a challenge, seeing the need for services increase, while donations have decreased. In the coming year we look forward to continuing- and hopefully expanding- our community programming. But we need your help!

Right now your support is urgently needed to keep our weekly food pantry and distribution open. We receive no government funding (we’re not against getting help from the government but this funding has shrunk dramatically over the years) so we rely almost entirely on donations from our friends. ​We are seeing an increase numbers visiting weekly for food and other essentials. Additionally, our pantry facilities are outdated and need updating. Recently, one of our large freezers stopped working completely and that means less capacity to store food.

This is why I am writing to you today. This year we’re hoping to raise $10,000 for the 100 for 100 Campaign. This will help us continue to feed those underserved in our community, as well as ensure we can update our pantry infrastructure. To succeed, we will need your help!
