Hello, my name is Paula. I have been happily married for 30 years to my husband Wayne and we have 2 children, their spouses, and 4 grandchildren. I love being a wife, mother, and grandmother. My hobbies include cooking, baking, canning, and spending time with my family. I also love being a wedding planner doing everything including flowers, food and more. My degree is in science, and I have also attended the Wilton Cake Decorating Courses in 2004-Classes 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Wilton Advanced Baking Course. I also have technical degrees in Professional Organization, Interior Design/Floral Arranging and Basic Culinary and Baking. Homemaking with PHD was started in January 2020 when the pandemic began. I began baking bread and giving it away in my community and surrounding areas because no one could find bread. People began posting on social media when they received my bread and wanted to know how to make it themselves. I started a private group on Facebook called Homemaking with PHD and I posted a few videos on YouTube as well. I began teaching people how to make bread and other budget friendly recipes. I also taught them how to keep their home clean and organized by just doing a few simple steps in the morning and the evening that took less than 30 minutes. I also taught them how to spend a few minutes each week in different areas of their home, so they don't have to do a deep cleaning of their entire home at one time again. I came up with this schedule after having some health issues that limited my ability to clean all day long. I researched many methods and then came up with my own schedule. Following this plan, taught them to never have a mountain of laundry, piles of dirty dishes and no more uncontrolled clutter. Around Easter of 2023, I had several of my followers reach out to me suggesting that I take my knowledge to Tiktok. I thought I would give it a try and after 3 days, I had gone viral with an egg trick and recipe. Due to going viral around Easter, my followers began calling me "Momma Peep" and I refer to them as "my peeps". I now make videos and go live on TikTok around three days a week and I try to give special time to my subscribers. I also try to spend time weekly in my original Facebook group as well as teach classes in the "Momma Peep" classroom. My success on social media and my success with my recipe pdf files could have never been possible without the blessings of Jesus, support of my family, and the help of my assistant Theresa who has been with me since 2020 and my great social media moderators who have become great friends. All of this is in honor of my mother who passed away a few months before this journey began. Also, I learned so much from my aunts and my sister Glenda. I am blessed beyond measure.
