How you can sign up for online access to your Home Depot credit card 

If you haven't used your Home Depot credit card online before, homedepot.com/mycard is where you can register and activate online access. The registration process links your card to a User ID and password, so you can manage your account digitally going forward.

1. First, head over to Home Depot's website: https://www.homedepot.com/mycard. Once you're there, you'll see a few different types of cards displayed. Just pick the one that matches the card you have.

2. Right below where you usually log in, there's a link that says Register your card. Give that a click.

3. Now, you'll need to type in some info. They'll ask for your card number, the name as it appears on the card, that little security code on the back, and the last four numbers from your Social Security number. This is just to confirm it's really you, keep in mind that Home Depot's website should be secure.

4. Next, you'll get to create your login info. Think up a User ID and a password that you'll remember. Make sure your password is a tough one to guess!

5. Almost done! They'll have you pick a few security questions. Answer those, and then hit submit.

6. That’s it! Your card is now registered. Now you can log in whenever you want to check your balance, pay your bill, or see what deals are available or manage your card. Pretty simple, right?
