This Privacy Policy explains how Home Built Investments LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the TapRush mobile application ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
TapRush does not require an account, email, password, or sign-up to play. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any user.
The App may collect or store the following non-identifiable information:
1. Gameplay Data
Stored locally on your device only. Includes best score, total games played, XP, level, themes unlocked, sound/haptic preferences, and Remove Ads purchase status.
2. Advertising Identifiers (via Google AdMob)
We display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (resettable in Android settings)
- Device type, OS version, language, country
- General app usage and ad interaction data
This is used by Google to deliver more relevant ads. We do not see or store this data ourselves. Google AdMob's privacy practices: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
3. Purchase Records (via Google Play Billing)
If you make the optional in-app purchase ("Remove Ads", $2.99 USD), the transaction is processed by Google Play. We receive only a token confirming the purchase, never your payment details.
How We Use Information
- To run the game and save your local progress
- To serve relevant advertisements via AdMob
- To verify and restore in-app purchases via Google Play
- To improve gameplay balance based on aggregated, anonymous data
Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. The only data leaving your device is what Google AdMob and Google Play Billing collect under their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
TapRush is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. AdMob is configured to request non-personalized ads only, which complies with Google's families policy guidelines.
Your Choices
- Opt out of personalized ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Reset / Delete advertising ID, or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
- Remove all local game data: in the App, Settings → "Reset Progress".
- Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data instantly.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect any data we handle. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new policy.
