Glossary

Station: any equipment that takes part in the infrastructure. A station is identified by a unique ID and some characteristics stored in the database

Hub/Server: the Linux server running the standard code

Database: the unique database running on the server that contains both the infrastructure descriptions and the stations values

Indicator: a kind of standard data exchanged

Measurement: a kind of standard data exchanged

Alert: a kind of standard data exchanged that are logged and eventually trigger an event

Register: a one byte data exchanged

Command: a specific data exchanged

Status: a set of 3 standard indicators that defines the station status

Event: actions toward station that are to be triggered

Trigger: conditions that triggers events

Tasks: list of planned events

Sheet ID: google identifier associated to a station used to store data in a sheet

Framework: microcontroller code framework used to easily add a station in the infrastructure
