Jee-Yee is a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in the research group. She has advanced our understanding of mesoporous materials through discovering that common aminosilica materials can have four different types of sites.

Leah is a third year Ph.D. candidate in the group. She is working to advance the understanding of the active site for zeolites through using meticulous experiments.

Ryan is a senior undergraduate researcher in the group. He is working to advance the synthesis of Lewis acid zeolites and to develop a platform for rapid catalytic testing.

Rita is an undergraduate student working on catalytic properties of zeolites. She is investigating cooperativity between catalytic sites to accelerate chemical reactions.

Blake is an undergraduate student working on investigating the fundamentals of aminosilica materials for the aldol condensation and reaction. He is building a detailed mechanism of acid-base cooperative systems to help advance the sustainable upgrading of biomass to fine chemicals.

Edward is an undergraduate student working on investigating the use of aminosilica materials for the aldol condensation and reaction. He will use the materials in a flow reactor to investigate catalytic stability.
