PRIVACY POLICY FOR HOME MAINTENANCE LOG

This Privacy Policy explains how Home Maintenance Log (the "App") handles information when you use it. The App is a local household maintenance organizer.
1. INFORMATION YOU ENTER
You may choose to enter information such as names and details of household appliances, systems, safety equipment, and other home assets; asset categories and locations within the home; maintenance tasks, schedules, due dates, completion dates, and status; service history, costs, and notes; and language and currency preferences.
This information is stored locally in the App's private storage on your device. The App does not send this information to the developer or to a cloud service.
Please do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, government identifiers, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The App does not collect personal information from your device or from the content you enter.
The App does not require or provide user accounts. It does not collect precise or approximate location. It does not access contacts, photos, videos, audio, files, calendars, or call records. It does not use advertising identifiers. It does not contain advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. It does not provide cloud backup or cloud synchronization.
3. PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK ACCESS
The App requests internet access only to display this Privacy Policy in an in-app WebView when you choose to open it. Core asset, plan, and service-record features work locally and do not require a network connection.
When the privacy-policy page is loaded, the website and its hosting or network providers may automatically receive standard web-request information, such as your IP address, device or browser type, User-Agent, requested URL, and request date and time. This technical information is handled according to the practices of the website and hosting provider and is not combined by the App with your locally stored maintenance records.
4. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Information you enter is used on your device to organize household assets, calculate and display upcoming or overdue maintenance, create and display service history, summarize maintenance costs, and remember your App preferences.
The developer does not use your locally stored records for advertising, profiling, analytics, or marketing.
5. SHARING AND SALE OF INFORMATION
The App does not transmit, sell, rent, or share the household maintenance information stored in the App. The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics services.
Standard technical information generated when you open the online privacy-policy page may be processed by the page's hosting and network providers as described in Section 3.
6. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DELETION
App records remain in the App's private storage on your device until you delete an individual asset, plan, or service record; use Clear all data in the App's Settings; uninstall the App; or clear its storage through Android settings.
Deleting an asset also deletes its related plans and service history. Clearing all data is permanent and cannot be undone through the App.
Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for App data. The developer cannot access, recover, or remotely delete data stored only on your device.
7. SECURITY
The App stores records in Android's private application storage. Access is subject to the protections provided by your device and operating system. No electronic storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your device protected and avoid entering highly sensitive information in the App.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is a general household utility and is not directed to children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through a separate contact channel, please use the contact method in Section 11.
9. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Household maintenance records remain on your device and are not transferred internationally by the App. Loading the online privacy-policy page may route standard web-request information through servers in other countries, depending on the hosting and network providers.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may be updated when the App's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published at the privacy-policy URL shown in the App and identified by the Last updated date above. Material changes will be reflected before the changed data practice takes effect.

Because the developer does not receive or control the maintenance records stored locally on your device, requests concerning those records must be completed using the deletion controls described in Section 6.
