I am adding a 3rd floor addition to my home. I think that I got most of the plan done using Home Designer Pro but don't see how I could get the prints necessary to obtain a building permit. there are still a number of issues that need to be worked out but I don't want to keep committing significant amounts of time on the plan if I'm going to have to hire someone to produce the blueprints anyway.73whatcheer Sq deck.plan

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer[4] is a 2015 sandbox video game developed and published by Nintendo, with assistance from Monolith Soft, for the Nintendo 3DS. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer downplays the wider community simulation mechanics of the main Animal Crossing series in favor of focusing on house designing; players work as an employee of Nook's Homes, designing homes for other animal villagers based around their suggestions.[6][7] As players progress, they will unlock additional furniture elements they can incorporate into their designs.[6] Players can also visit the homes they have created.[6]
The game integrates with Animal Crossing Amiibo cards; scanning cards allows their respective character to visit a home that a player had designed, and allows players to design homes for other major characters such as K.K. Slider and Tom Nook.[6][8]
Animal Crossing series producer Aya Kyogoku explained that Happy Home Designer was inspired by the internal process of designing homes for the animal villagers in the main Animal Crossing games, stating that "We had to think about, what kind of things would this animal like? What kind of life do they lead? Trying to figure out what they'd want was very fun, and we tried to think of a way we could get this kind of experience to players as well."[6] Players are not tied to a specific budget when designing homes; while the concept was considered, the development team believed that such a limit placed too much of a burden on the player's creativity.[6]
On October 15, 2021, during an Animal Crossing direct, it was announced that a premium DLC, Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Happy Home Paradise, would be released on November 5, 2021 along with New Horizons's 2.0 update. It is available for $25.00 USD, beginning with pre-orders on October 29. It is also included within the price of the Nintendo Switch Online service's "Expansion Pack". The DLC appears to take heavy inspiration from Happy Home Designer and follows the player making vacation homes for several villagers, as well as establishments such as a school and restaurant. Lottie returns, and two new characters are introduced. In the new DLC, the player can use wallpaper on an individual wall as opposed to only all four, have villagers live with each other, among many other things.

Never read such a full-fledged post regarding working with an interior designer. Working with an interior designer when you have zero knowledge about interior design is a tuff job. Telling from personal experience. Thanks for writing this post and sharing it with us. Hope people reading this post will have some clarity while working with an interior designer.
I have a much different experience. I wish it was what you mentioned. The trades people are already busy. The discounts that the designer has are non-existent. We have to hire people to assembly the furniture and mount the TV. We have to buy all the furniture. Perhaps I was spoiled by the Gaines experience. We got a post it note on the design of the room. We looked for our furniture selections and she chimes in. Next time- I will ask more questions on what we can expect and get from our designer.
Josie and her husband built their home in Utah about 3 years ago. They did such a great job. They have done the hard part and I have gotten to pop in and help when I am in town with the accessories and some furniture. This is their forever home. Josie said that they wanted to build this home to be able to host Thanksgiving for their family and have all of their extended family and friends over for parties I love their purpose and intentions with this home.
I do love a big great room for entertaining like Josie has. We used to have a space like this with our Utah home, they really are the best floor plans for families. I am going to stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves! I included links to some of her great pieces at the end of this post and the paint they used on the walls and trim.

I am trying to find a home design software and I was impressed by Sketchup features and ready to try it. However, it is possible that I will decide later to switch to another application. Will I be able to save and open my work in other application instead of recreating it again? May I open other files formats in Sketchup? Will I be able to use libraries of floor plans from other formats?
Does Sketchup have a library of complete house designs including floor plans and building structure details?
