Day 1 — Review Steps
Go through the order of Sacrament:
Sign of the Cross
“Bless me, Father…”
Honest confession
Act of Contrition
Absolution & Penance discussion.
Look over the child's lap book we made together at the parent's meeting- and review with them how this will assist them in the confessional.
Day 2 — Watch Together

Day 3 — Prayer Time
Light a candle, pray together, and thank God for His mercy.
Day 4 — Goal Setting
Ask your child: “What are 3 good things we can do this week to love God and others?”
Day 5 — Family Celebration
Have a special dessert or dinner, share highlights of the preparation, and pray a thanksgiving prayer.
