This project was inspired by our groups mutual love for authentic board game experiences. We wanted to take an old game and modernize it in a unique way. 

Cribbage can be tricky to pick up especially when you don't play games regularly. We made the game easily accessible to beginners by making an automatic card scanner for both players, scanning each card and calculating the points.

After each point is calculated the magnetic pieces on the board are moved by two motors in the board. 

The board was designed to be able to be played by plugging the power cord in the wall OR powering a portable power pack that can power both the camera and the motors allowing for an on the go experience.

The board is made out of wood to simulate an authentic aged board game while still having a sleek design.
