This program has moved. Holy Family Homeschoolers' monthly science labs at the Houston Museum of Natural Science now operate under CHECH, the Catholic Home Educators Collective Houston.
The labs continue as always: monthly sessions September through May, hands-on morning labs grouped by age, and afternoon museum activities. CHECH also offers excursions, teen lectures, an annual conference, scholarships, and a citywide community of Catholic homeschool families.

Holy Family Homeschoolers meets for classes at the Houston Museum of Natural Science in a group on either Thursday or Friday once a month from September to May (excluding December).
Students, grouped by age, explore science, nature, and history in two interactive labs in the morning from 9:30am to 12:00pm. Each lab is an hour long with a maximum of 25 students in the group. General age groupings are approximate and as follows:
Group A - K through 2nd graders
Group B - 3rd and 4th graders
Group C - 5th and 6th graders
Group D - 7th-12th graders
Every month we do a special afternoon activity around the museum such as an exhibit tour, an IMAX movie, or a planetarium visit. All students must have a parent or designated adult chaperone attend the afternoon activities with them.
Tuition is $150 per student. This includes all labs for 8 visits.
Extra tickets for the afternoon activities are $5 each or $40 for the year. These are required for everyone over the age of 2.
