Waves

Today we are going to start off simple but this is the most important lesson to understand in the unit because it is foundational for all the other lessons. Luckily, I've discovered a FANTASTIC new youtube channel that explains everything for this lesson very clearly. The only formulas we are learning today are:

• f = 1/T which says Frequency is one divided by Period
• v = λ f which says Velocity of a wave is equal to Wavelength times Frequency

• You should learn about wavelength, period, frequency, velocity, and how to use them with the above formulas. You will also learn about Transverse and Longitudinal waves.
