I have a true first edition of Gone With the Wind, May 1936, McMillan. Book is in excellent shape. However, it has a fake dust jacket marked Facsimile Dust Jackets L.L.C. at the bottom. Should I try to sell it with or without the fake cover? What is an estimated value either way?

Can you help me or refer me to a source that can? My collection includes some special Easton Press editions and 95% is As New to Good. All have their dust jackets which are protected with sleeves and the books have been in climate comtrolled storage for some years.

Two books I own have me stumped. First is a 1901 copy of Bushido The Soul of Japan by Inazo Nitobe. The boards have issues but this book has the dust jacket and I have found no other copy with the dust jacket (fragile as it is.) Second is The Scenerys and Customs of Japan by Bokujo Koizumi, Tokyo. Some fraying to boards and hinges but intact and complete. Can you help?

Hi There,

I have a couple of interesting books I am wondering if you would be so kind as to give me a rough estimate of their value please.

The first book is a leather bound book named Sweet By and By written by S.Fillmore Bennett dated 1887 London.

It appears to be a religious book with illustrations.

the book itself is in very good condition and is complete.

The second book is called, Fables Illustrated Stories from real life, by Mrs George Cupples. London Dated 1883.

This book is complete but has a small section missing from the front cover and some small humidity marks throughout most of the pages.

Finally is the bible, it contains both the old and new testaments translated from the original greek. Oxford Dated 1828.

This a small book measureing 85mm x 145mm x 50mm.

This bible is complete but has some wear on the cover.

Thankyou for your assistance with these books.

Kind regards,

Ken.

I have Alice in Wonderland and through the looking glass. It has a number 2792 on the bottom of the cover. Mcloughlin Bros is the only name on it. No dates can be found anywhere. It is hardcover with no dust jacket. There is a rabbit on the top left corner, Alice is holding a flamingo and the wizard (I think) is with her. Any idea what the value would be?

Hardcover Design Aspects: 480 pages, hardcover, perfect bound, and printed in full color on uncoated paper in Italy. The dimensions are 7.75 in x 9.75 in. NLT, ESV, NIV, or KJV translation. Gray cloth cover with foil and dust jacket.

This hardback blue NIV Bible has 11pt print, making it easier to read for those who prefer larger text. The text is very clearly laid out on the page in two elegant columns, with minimal show-though. The cover design is the same as the standard NIV Popular Bible which matches the stock of blue hardback pew Bibles churches will already have. 589ccfa754
