Holography at Finite N
Gravity beyond the semi-classical limit
Gravity beyond the semi-classical limit
This workshop aims to discuss recent developments in string theory, M-theory, and holography pushing our understanding beyond the supergravity regime. Over the past decade, progress in understanding strongly coupled quantum systems, quantum gravity, and the microscopic structure of spacetime has increasingly relied on tools that go beyond classical or semiclassical limits. This meeting will focus on the emerging techniques and conceptual frameworks that aim to capture genuinely stringy and M-theoretic effects, higher-derivative and non-perturbative corrections, and exact results in strongly curved or strongly coupled backgrounds.
A central theme of the workshop will be the interplay between holography and exact methods, including developments in AdS/CFT at finite coupling, integrability, bootstrap approaches, topological strings, and quantum corrections to black hole physics. By bringing together researchers working on diverse but interconnected subfields—ranging from conformal field theory and dualities to quantum geometry, branes, and matrix models—the workshop aims to stimulate new collaborations and exchange of ideas across traditional boundaries.
