Year 5 have been using DADWAVERS to improve their writing - the idea is to use a range of different sentence starters to make their work more interesting for the reader. They have also been trying to broaden their vocabulary using thesaurus to find a suitable synonym. 5H used an image of a grave yard to get their spooky, mysterious imaginations flowing. 5T had the option of using an image of an adult and child to help them focus on their vocabulary to describe feelings.
