"Amazing! One of my favorite classes, student/professor relationships felt very equal and communication was encouraged and always open."Â
"I would say Prof. Williams perfectly promoted equality, openness, and respect. Of my classes, I probably feel the most comfortable talking in this one. She has a very welcoming and encouraging energy that you don't find with every professor."
"This is my second year having Prof. Williams as a professor, and her consistent ability to make the material engaging and enjoyable is what keeps students coming back. She has a natural talent for breaking down concepts in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming, which is especially valuable in a performance-based class where nerves can get in the way. She is always supportive and provides timely, thoughtful feedback on all assignments and projects. Her responses are not just grades, but tools that help us grow, reflect, and gain confidence in our work."
"Ms. Williams is such a great teacher to have at any point in your academic career, she teaches from freshman to seniors, and doesn't differentiate between the seniority or experience students may have completed. She treats everyone as an equal, and is a real people person. I really love how she connects with you as a person, and gets to know you by name, not just where you sit. She can recognize you outside the classroom, and always has a positive happy attitude even if she gets thrown curveballs. I know I speak for everyone in CST105 taking her class when I say that we wouldn't be as happy of a class if we didn't have her."
"Professor Williams was one of the best professors I have ever had. She truly cares for her students and is energetic and enthusiastic when teaching. I would highly recommend her to all my friends and will miss her class very much."
"Prof. Williams has been by far the nicest, caring professor that I have had since being at High Point University. This was my favorite class this semester. I enjoyed the class because of how well prepared Ms. Williams was as a professor and how she always asked for class feedback in lessons. I strongly recommend anyone to take this class even if not a Com major, it will enhance your public, in person, one on one speaking abilities. I understand what it means to be able to communicate with everyone you meet and I am appreciative of her time and all that she covered in this course."
"Professor Williams is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. She not only knows so much about communication, but she is so passionate about it and it really shows. She always made our class engaged through her different assignments, and what I loved the most was that all her assignments weren't just busy work. They were things that she knew the students would enjoy doing all while learning the material. For example, we got to choose all our topics for our presentations, which allowed everyone to speak about what they wanted and we were able to learn from others. Such an incredible teacher and cares about her students more than any professor I have ever had."
