Holly on the Web

The early 2000s were my prolific years, 50-plus works on ASSTR and Storiesonline, from which other hosts lifted (fine by me). Google and you'll find some. As ASSTR's now but an un-updatable archive , what remains of me there is from that era.

I now, however, find many of these early works to be poorly written, often laborious, and have rewritten them.

Storiesonline incorporates these rewrites and more-recent works. I try to keep it up to date.

Lush Stories and Literotica contain some of my material, but as these sites do not post stories with characters less than 18, a portion of my writing is not there. No complaint.

Ernest Hemingway, The Art of the Short Story (1959, correspondence), “Throw it all away and invent from what you know. .. That’s all there is to writing.”

I wish it were that easy. I now and then obviously venture a few paces from what I know, but I keep returning.
