Holly McClain Burke, MPH, PhD

Dr. Holly Burke is a behavioral scientist with experience designing and leading international health research studies. She joined FHI 360 in 2002. Her expertise is in (1) designing studies that incorporate both quantitative and qualitative research methods to expand understanding of contraceptive and HIV prevention behaviors and (2) evaluating the impact of programs, including health communication campaigns and integrated economic strengthening and health interventions. Dr. Burke has advanced doctoral training in psychometric techniques, including scale development, testing, and validation, which she applies in her research to enhance measurement of attitudes and knowledge that influence behaviors.
