Indoor Walking Program Course Fee- One time fee of $10 for key card
The program is held at Harold O. Brumsted Elementary School (173 Canada Street, Holland, NY). H.O.B Elementary will open for the walking program from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, during the months of October to May.
For the safety of all participants, students, and employees in the building, we appreciate your cooperation in the following program guidelines and rules. Understand that violating this list of guidelines could result in a suspension or revocation of your access card.
Walking Pass Guideline:
Safety is of the highest priority for our students and staff, and we are continuing to use the Raptor Technology Scanning System, district wide. Bring your driver’s license/photo I.D. to Patty Gunner, Community Education Coordinator, located in the High School, for a brief initial background scan. You can come for your background scan and have your picture taken Monday-Thursday between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Once complete, you will receive your Walking Pass Keycard to access H.O.B. Elementary during the walking program times for a small one-time fee. You will be notified when your key card is ready for pick up. You must receive a Walking Pass Keycard prior to beginning the program. Replacement key passes may be purchased if necessary. THE BACKGROUND SCAN AND PICTURE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30TH. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE UNTIL THEN.

Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures such as evacuation routes and assembly points.
Open/Lap Swimming Course Fee: Individual pass: $75 Immediate Household Family pass: $100
Recreational/open and lap swimming - a great way to exercise! Tone muscles and improve fitness at your own pace, float, or bring kids for free swim. To allow quality swim time, this program is limited to 25 swimmers. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will need a minimum of 12 people to offer the course. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please register early to avoid disappointment.

At approximately 6:30pm the lifeguard leaves the exterior doors to open the pool and assume their post in the lifeguard stand so swimming can start promptly at 6:30pm!

Taking care of our own oral health can be challenging, but what’s even more challenging is tending to the oral healthcare needs of somebody else! Caregivers of loved ones with complex medical conditions, limited mobility, decreased dexterity or cognitive impairment face unique difficulties when caring for their loved one’s mouths. This is a course for all of the dedicated caregivers. In this course, we’ll discuss everything from routine hygiene to denture care. We’ll also address positioning and behavioral challenges that you may face while caring for your loved one. After this course, you’ll feel more confident caring for your loved one’s smile.

Appropriate behavior is expected while attending the course and failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal with no refund. Classes will be held after school.
