Residensi MADANI is a government-driven initiative under the MADANI administration led by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. This program provides affordable housing in the low-cost category within the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. It was introduced to assist low-income groups in obtaining homes within these areas. Currently, affordable housing developments in the Federal Territories emphasise medium-cost housing through the Residensi Wilayah (RW) program for middle-income groups. The new Residensi MADANI program complements existing initiatives by supporting less privileged groups in owning comfortable homes. Residensi MADANI offers affordable housing units with sale prices up to RM200,000 per unit, featuring a minimum size of 750 square feet. The target is to develop 10,000 units across Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan from 2021 to 2024 (Berita Terkini, Residensi Madani).
