Get to know Dr. Maria Cristancho

Dr. Maria Cristancho  is an Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Specialist, double-board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ASA). She trained at the renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois where she spent 5 years. She completed her Medical School and a Plastic Surgery Residency at the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia and she is a member of the Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery. She practiced surgery for 4 years before coming to the states.  With her extensive training in surgery, anesthesia and pain together with the years of experience in the Medical field, she now treats several chronic pain conditions using all her expertise and knowledge.
