My Philosophy
At Holistic Massage Clinic TEATEYA, my mission is to help those whose pain persists despite hospital visits or physical therapy, or who have been suffering for months or years. I aspire to be a therapist who provides lasting relief, helping patients around the world return to a life free of pain.
The greatest joy of my work is seeing people regain comfort, move freely, and live happily, surrounded by smiles. This is the true meaning of what I do.
Hello, my name is Tomo, founder and representative of Holistic Massage Clinic TEATEYA.
Soccer has been at the center of my life since childhood. I dreamed of dedicating myself entirely to the sport and walking through life with it by my side. However, in my early twenties, I began experiencing severe back and knee pain, which made it difficult to continue playing.
Despite numerous visits to hospitals and specialists, the cause of my pain remained unidentified. My symptoms fluctuated—sometimes improving, sometimes worsening—and I was constantly burdened by discomfort. At a time when the internet was not widely available, I relied on books and self-study to seek a solution.
I continued working while enduring constant pain, commuting despite discomfort, and spending my limited free time on therapy. Then one day, I discovered Seitai-therapy, which became a true turning point. Unlike anything I had tried before, it dramatically reduced my lower back and knee pain. It not only relieved my symptoms but also showed me that innovative and effective treatments were possible.
This transformative experience inspired me to study Seitai-therapy in depth while continuing to work. I acquired various skills and techniques, combining them to create a unique manual therapy method. Today, I am able to help people facing the same challenges I once endured.
My mission is clear: to assist those whose pain has not improved with conventional treatments and to continuously explore new ways to promote health and healing. I am committed to bringing relief to people around the world.
For me, this is more than a profession—it is the calling of my soul.
I also volunteer, teaching simple exercises to elderly individuals and providing temporary pain relief through treatments. A portion of my fees goes toward supporting these initiatives, helping extend care beyond the clinic.
