Holiday TubaFest has been celebrated in Calgary every year since 2008! Many similar events happen around Canada, USA and the rest of the world - often known as "Tuba Christmas" and conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips; Holiday TubaFest began in Toronto in 1992!
The celebration of festive holiday music performed by tuba players of all ages and levels, each year is a wonderful community builder that celebrates low brass and creates tradition and friendships within the region!
Calgary's Holiday TubaFest has quickly grown to being the largest of its kind in Canada!
