The water canteen that only Mr.sir and the sheriff have control over is a prop that establishes the authority of those two in the play. Camp green lake is based on the premise that water is the reason you can't leave
Shovels are the only tools given to the group of boys to dig, they represent the hard work every day that the boys must do. Shovels also become weaponized in some parts of the play
The golden object is what Stanley uses to get out of work although he isn't the one who finds it. gifting it to Stanley creates unity among the boys. This object also foreshadows that camp authority might be looking for something in particular.
Although only a minor prop during the beginning of the play, Mr.sir's truck quickly becomes a more major prop. The truck allows Stanley to make a decision to run away from the camp kick-starting the events to bring down the camp.
This prop Mountain is extremely important to the play because Stanley Yelnats's curse revolves around it. To create a piece like this one, that stands out above the rest (literally and physically) we need a plan.
