Hola, Bonita! My name is Maria, originally from the natural heart of the world, Ecuador. Beauty and Skin Care have always played an important part of my life and culture. I remember, at a very young age, being curious and fascinated watching my mother and grandmother practice several beauty rituals and secrets that were passed from generations to generations; from wearing a red lipstick to lift up your spirit to bathing in a bath full of rose petals and coconut milk. Nowdays, I share beauty secrets with my mother and my daughter.

Although my love for beauty and skin care have always been there, they were not always my first priority. I obtained an Associates Degree in General Business from Phoenix Community College in 2002, then completed my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from University of Phoenix in 2011, but after working several years for various corporate companies, I decided to take one of the biggest risk of my life and change careers. Thanks to the help and  support of my family, I was able to return to school and obtain my training and license in Aesthetics. Soon enough, I completed my training in Medical Aesthetics and obtained an Associates Degree in Beauty and Wellness. The beauty industry is constantly changing and improving, therefore continuous education is a requirement for Aestheticians to continue growing and offering the best possible treatments to our clients, that is why I am currently in the process of obtaining my Aesthetics Instructor License. I currently live in downtown Phoenix with my my five children. I admit that I have never been this busy in my life, but I also never been this happy.
