Welcome to the website of the 1st Naples Workshop on the History of Logic.
The Workshop will take place on 28-29 October 2025 at the Department of Humanities of the "Federico II" University of Naples. See the Venue page for more.
The Workshop is meant as the opening of the second cycle (2025-2026) of the Naples Seminar Series in the History of Logic, whose inaugural lectures will coincide with the two invited talks in the Workshop itself. As such, the Workshop shares the same hosts & partners institutions as the Seminar Series. It is organised by Francesco Pisano, Francesco Montesi and Antonio Piccolomini d'Aragona.
A preliminary round table on the transdisciplinary and didactical aspects of logic, gathering logicians from the "Federico II" University of Naples, will be held (in Italian) at the same venue the day before the start of the Workshop, i.e., on 27 October 2025. The participation in this preliminary meeting is open (and welcome) to participants in the Workshop. Visit the dedicated sub-page to know more.
