Hojoon Lee

Hello! I am a first-year Ph.D. student in mathematics at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), advised by Jang Soo Kim.

My research interest is in algebraic combinatorics, with particular interests in symmetric functions, orthogonal polynomials, and Schubert calculus.

I enjoy using algebraic methods to approach combinatorial problems as well as applying combinatorial techniques to algebraic or geometric problems.

“GöTudering” is a coined term combining the names of two mathematicians, Kurt Gödel and Alan Turing, whose work had a decisive influence on the beginning of my mathematical journey.
