The circuit operates based on a straightforward principle. In the OFF state, capacitor C1 charges through the load and resistor R2. When the momentary button PB1 is pressed, the voltage stored in C1 connects to the gate of transistor T2. This action opens T2, turning on the load. Simultaneously, T1 opens through resistor R1, maintaining a positive voltage on its gate. Capacitor C1 discharges through R2 and T1.Â
When PB1 is pressed again, the gate of T2 is discharged into C1, causing T2 to close, followed by T1. Resistor R3 ensures that the gate remains at 0V, keeping the circuit in the OFF state until PB1 is pressed once more. This mechanism allows for a simple and effective way to control the state of the load using a single momentary button.
You can replace the DC load with a relay to control an AC load. The input voltage range is 0~45V, depending upon your specific load requirements
