Coach Cassey began coaching in Lovington, NM in 2015. Her family relocated to Hobbs in 2023 when she was offered the Head Coach position at Hobbs High. 

This is Coach Cassey's 2nd year at Hobbs High.

Coach Behya is a Hobbs High School graduate, and a STATE CHAMPION athlete! Behya says her favorite memory was winning state her Junior year. "The feeling of them calling our name and running down to get the trophy is something I'll never forget!" 

This is Behya's 2nd year working with Hobbs Schools, and she is looking forward to make a difference in our athletes lives, while supporting them achieve their goals on and off the mat while keeping that Gold Standard mindset!

Coach Erika has been with Hobbs Schools for 13 years. She currently teaches Pre-AP English 2 and AP English 3 at Hobbs High School. She was previously a professor at NMJC for five years. 

Erika believes communication, respect, accountability and trust are paramount to the success of any athlete and team. Coach Erika says,  "I believe that all four characteristics must be required and modeled for all members of the team to ensure a solid foundation for success."
