Holy Name Parish Family,
Hello all! Our names are Damon & Abby Ware. We have been parishioners at Holy Name for several years. We married here in September 2019. We reside in Webster County with our 2 children. Madison (11), who we adopted in June 2022, and Weston born in January 2021. As Grace Marriage leaders, we hope to bring lots of love and laughter to our lessons. We are so excited to be a lead couple for our parish and are looking forward to helping others on their journey to a grace-filled marriage.
Amber is originally from Benton, KY, where she was raised by her grandparents. Her hobbies included staying active in her church and color guard. Amber worked in the Office of Special Projects in the President's Office at Murray State University before moving to Henderson. Amber has worked in the past for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center as well as being an integral part of the I69 phase one project team. She currently is a manager with Conduit Health Partners. She enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors whenever possible. John is originally from Pinckneyville, IL, where he grew up on a small family farm. His hobbies included farming, hunting, and being active in his church. John moved to Benton, KY, for work and school. John was previously the network engineer for Murray State University. He was also a volunteer firefighter for several departments and a paramedic supervisor for Marshall and Ballard counties EMS. John took a job at Data Link in Evansville, and both of them relocated to Henderson approximately ten years ago. John still enjoys hunting and playing on the farm. He is a volunteer firefighter/paramedic for Reed Fire Department.

I am Estefania and my husband’s name is Josh. I am originally from El Paso, TX then moved to Henderson in 2001. Josh is originally from Washington, IN. We met at Oakland City University. After getting married in 2016, we moved to Henderson, where we are growing and raising our family. We have a daughter named Rebecca that is three y.o., a son named Theo that is one, and another boy coming in November. Josh teaches Religion to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School and I work as a Chemist for a pharmaceutical company in Indiana. We enjoy being outside swinging or running or hiking, but indoors we love cooking, drawing and reading together.

We are John Shelman & Susana Solorza. We met and fell in love thanks to Holy Name School almost 17 years ago. And, thanks to Mrs. Brown, we started our relationship by making room for the Holy Spirit. Today, we have two beautiful, wild sons, Santiago and Luca. Without the love and support of our families, we would not be the husband and wife or parents we are. If we happen to sit by you on any given Sunday, thank you for your patience, and watch out for flying goldfish! We look forward to learning more about how to meet each other with grace and helping other couples in the parish do so as well.
