In the short films above, I often mention working as a Director of Photography, but many people may not know what a D.O.P. is.
A Director of Photography is the person who determines camera placement, direction, image size, shooting techniques, and other technical aspects of a camera. So, more simply, a D.O.P. is the Director of the Cameraman. In almost all of the short films I've made, I've been the Director of Photography and the Cameraman, so I'll just refer to them as the D.O.P.
