We aim to uncover the secrets of human brain development based on mosaic mutations and multi-omics approaches, and to elucidate the mechanisms of human brain cell differentiation using mouse and stem-cell-based models. Through this, we seek to establish alternative in vitro and in vivo models of human brain development that accurately reflect human-specific features not yet captured.
Such a model will enable a better understanding of the causes of human brain disorders and the development of new treatments, ultimately contributing to a healthier life for humanity.
