About Mrs. Huffman

Hello! I am new to the School Counseling Office for the 2024-2025 school year. I am so happy to be part of the team supporting HMS students as they navigate their educational journeys. Please stop by anytime and say hello. I am usually sitting at the desk as soon as you walk in our office.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies and previously worked as a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Specialist in schools in Beaver and Butler Counties. 

When not in the School Counseling Office, you'll find me enjoying nature through gardening and hiking. These activities help me stay grounded and inspired. My personal motto is, "Sometimes you have to make your own sunshine".  Not every day is bright and shiny but focusing on the positives can create light, even on the cloudiest days.

About Mrs. Kampmeyer

Hello HMS Families!  I am delighted to work at HMS with so many wonderful students and families!  I have been at Hampton since 2007.  Prior to working at Hampton I worked for the Allegheny County Office of Behavioral Health.  

I attended the University of Pittsburgh where received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Communications and received my Master of Education in Secondary School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  

When I'm not at school, I'm typically spending time with my husband and three children.  We love being active outdoors, running, skiing, biking, and kayaking.  I also enjoy reading a good book!
