Things to do in Dublin

The Old Library: Located inside the College, the Old Library contains the Book of Kells - a 9th century gospel manuscript.

Being in the city centre, Trinity College is close to several museums including the National Gallery of Ireland, the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology, the Little Museum of Dublin, MoLI and others.

Within walking distance of Trinity College are many pubs, and restaurants, such as The Ginger Man or Mary's Bar, as well as several theatres and cinemas, including the Irish Film Institute and the historic Smock Alley Theatre.

Apart from St Stephen's Green which is a 10 minute away from the College, parks in Dublin include Phoenix and St Anne's Park. Further out, but still easily reachable by the Dart train are Howth and Malahide in the north and Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey in the south.
