26th Himalayan Languages Symposium

The Himalayan Languages Symposium is an annually convening, open scholarly forum for scholars of Himalayan languages. Contributions are welcome on any language of the greater Himalayan region.  In addition to linguistic presentations, contributions are also welcome from related disciplines such as history, anthropology, archaeology and prehistory. The forum is secular and scholarly and not open to political or religious contributions.

The 26th edition of the Symposium (originally scheduled for 2020) took place at INALCO's Maison de la Recherche (7th arrondissement, Paris, France), from September 4th to September 6th 2023.

We are grateful to our sponsors: INALCO, the Empirical Foundations of Linguistics Labex, the Histoire des théories linguistiques research group, the Centre de recherches linguistiques sur l'Asie orientale research group
