Purpose

The University of Hong Kong Alumni Association (UK) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening the bond between alumni of the University of Hong Kong who are currently residing in the United Kingdom. Our association aims to create a vibrant community of alumni who can support one another through networking opportunities and social events. We are committed to fostering lifelong relationships among alumni, promoting the values of the University of Hong Kong, and providing a platform for members to give back to their alma mater.

What we've done

Over the years, we have organised a range of events that cater to the diverse interests of our members. Our past events have included cultural tours, sports events, and social gatherings. These events have provided a platform for alumni to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and expand their professional networks. Our association is committed to organising events that are relevant, engaging, and fun, and we welcome suggestions from our members on how we can better serve their needs.

Two key events taking place every year are the Annual General Meeting and the Mentorship Programme. The AGM is a highlighted event of the year where the alumni meet over a 'Poon Choi' lunch. The Mentorship Programme provides opportunities for exchange students to meet their alumni mentors who reside in the UK during their study terms in the country.
