Technology Focus: Google Sheets, My Maps, Google Form
Description: We used Google Sheets, My Maps, and Google Form to create a rough lesson that we would use in a classroom full of students.
Value: Google Sheets would be most useful in a Math setting, while My Maps would be really helpful in a Geography or History class.
My Assignment: Assuming that we had already read the first six books, I would have my students read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, since the characters travel to many different locations in this book. My students would then create a Google Sheet and Map about all of the locations visited throughout the book, focusing on the locations where the characters are during the more important parts of the book. After that, my students would complete the Google Form that I have prepared over the book.
