Omni Verse is a basic social media application where users can share and engage with content. Users can post images, videos, and tweets, as well as like, comment, and subscribe to other posts and channels.
We care deeply about your privacy and the security of your personal information, and we are committed to protecting it at all times.
Omni Verse collects and stores certain personal and sensitive data in order to provide a secure and personalized social media experience. This includes:
Account Information: such as your name, email address, profile photo, and password, which are required for unique identification and account creation.
User Content: such as the posts you share (images, videos, and text), likes, comments, and subscriptions.
You have full control over your content. You may delete or remove your photos, videos, or other posts at any time from within the app.
Database: User details (such as name, email, and password) are securely stored in MongoDB.
Media Content: Photos and videos shared by users are stored in Cloudinary.
Hosting: Our backend services are deployed on Render.
Other than these trusted service platforms, we do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data with any third parties.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining the privacy and security of your data.
We use your account details (name, email, photo, and password) to create and maintain your unique user profile.
This allows you to upload and manage your images, videos, and thoughts, as well as interact with other users’ posts through likes, comments, and subscriptions.
Without this information, core features of the app would not function properly.
Personalization of Content
We may use your activity (such as likes, comments, and subscriptions) to show you more relevant posts and recommendations tailored to your interests.

We use this data to protect against unauthorized access, spam, and fraudulent activity.
Communication from Developers
We may use your registered email to send important updates, security alerts, or notifications related to your account or app usage.
We do not use your email for spam or irrelevant promotions.
