CMOS IC for bioengineering applications
- Fabrication process for flexible CMOS neural probes: post processing of IC, novel fabrication process development for extremely thin IC. (US patent pending)
- Ultrasound based wireless signal/power transfer using piezoelectric transducers: modeling, initial experimental performance test in tissue phantom using 25–40 MHz ultrasound waves. (US patent pending)
Printing, micro-fluidics
- Electro-wetting (EW): EW based mechanical switch device was investigated including experimental demonstration.
- Micro-contact printing: Conductive polymer printing using µCP PDMS stamps
Multi-gate MOSFETs
- Analytical modeling: threshold voltage model for double-gate MOSFETs was developed, and confirmed with simulation results. (Link)
- Vertical-gate resistance of FinFETs: measurement and analysis of vertical gate resistance of FinFETs (14 nm SOI technology).
