Guidelines of “Collaglacier: Piecing Together a Cooler World”
Collage Art Competition 2025-2026
《迷你『冰』團集結號》拼貼藝術比賽 2025-2026 指南
The following guidelines (the “Guidelines”) shall apply to “Collaglacier: Piecing Together a Cooler World” Collage Art Competition 2025 (the “Collage Art Competition”) hosted by Hong Kong Arts Centre (“HKAC”).
AIMS
In a world shaped by climate change and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, the Collage Art Competition highlights the unique value of human imagination and hands-on creativity. This competition not only nurtures artistic talent but also fosters deeper awareness of sustainability by illustrating how meaningful art can be made without creating extra waste or consuming new resources.
Our glacier theme for 2025 proudly aligns with the United Nations International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, linking Hong Kong’s youth to a global movement for climate action and the protection of our planet’s vital “cooling towers”. Through this initiative, we seek to inspire the next generation in re-imagining waste as resource, embracing sustainable living, and building a more resilient, “cooler” world — one collage at a time.
ELIGIBILITY
The Collage Art Competition is open to all Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary School students currently studying in Hong Kong (the “Participants”).
Competition Categories
1. Kindergarten Parent-Child Group
2. Lower Primary School Group
3. Upper Primary School Group
4. Secondary School Group
