Healdsburg Junior High (HJH) is committed to create and maintain a safe and supportive school environment where all members of the school community show respect for each other. 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Healdsburg Junior High Counseling Program is to provide support services that promote social, emotional, and academic growth for all students in their quest to become productive citizens and responsible, lifelong learners. In collaboration with staff, families and community members the HJH counseling program strives to nurture the whole child by building an affirming, inclusive and equitable school environment. By doing so, HJH students will develop skills necessary to contribute to society and their community throughout their lives.

Vision Statement

HJH students will be equipped with the tools to achieve academically, think critically, cope emotionally, and explore college and career paths that reflect their abilities and interests. Our students will expand on their skills to be empathic and compassionate humans, as well as responsible, resilient and confident leaders.
