[TECHNICAL EXPERIENCES]
1. Thin film growth
Molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) and oxysulfides
- Set-up a home-built MBE system equipped with ultra-high vacuum system, in situ surface monitoring tools (RHEED Auger electron spectroscopy), temperature controller, and evaporators (thermal, e-beam)
- Materials: Transition metal (oxy-)sulfide, (oxy-)selenide and carbide
- Machine learning assisted RHEED analysis used for understanding film growth mechanism
Sol-gel synthesis for transition metal oxide
- Fabrication of transition metal oxide thin film with thermal annealing and excimer laser annealing for transparent conducting oxide or semiconductor (SnO2 and In:SnO2).
