Do you cancel due to weather?
Yes, but not often. Rain we can deal with. Wind is usually our biggest enemy on the lake. Luckily, we can usually find ways to hide from the wind.
How many people are allowed on your boat?
While my license allows for six people, I would not recommend that many. Four adults is ideal due to space limitations on the boat and time spent reeling in fish.
Is tipping the captain and/or mate mandatory?
No. However, whenever customers ask about tipping, I tell them we are providing a service much like the wait-staff at a restaurant. If our service warrants it, a tip is a very nice gesture of your gratitude for the service provided. Ultimately, some customers tip, and some do not.
Who cleans the fish we catch?
New this year, your captain will clean and bag your catch before you leave for the day. We have found it to be quicker and a better experience to do so.
What forms of payment do we take, or prefer?
We prefer cash at the dock. Credit cards+3%. Venmo also accepted.
Personal checks will not be accepted for balance of payment, only the down payment.
